7 Days Morocco Desert Tour from Casablanca to Marrakesh

Day 1: Depart from Casablanca towards Chefchaouen via Rabat and Rif Mountains

Our professional local guide will be awaiting your arrival at the Casablanca airport / Hotel and escort you on a visit to the iconic Hassan 2 Mosque located within the city. Upon completion of the mosque visit, Our journey will continue to the city of Rabat where we will commence with a visit to the incomplete Hassan Mosque and the Oudayas Kasbahs, followed by a delightful lunch experience in the historic city of Rabat. Subsequently, we will embark on a scenic drive through the picturesque Rif Mountains to reach the charming Blue City, Chefchaouen. Afterward, you will have the evening at your leisure and spend the night in Chefchaouen (BB)

Day 2: Chefchaouen city sightseeing escorted with a local guide

Today, you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide in Chefchaouen for a comprehensive city tour, where you will visit the historical old city, the iconic Casbah, and the charming blue narrow streets that define the city's character.

Day 3: From Chefchaouen to Fes via Rif Mountains, Volubilis and Meknes

Following breakfast, our tour will recommence with a pick-up from your hotel. Our destination for the day is the ancient Roman Ruins at Volubilis, where we will embark on a guided visit of the ruins. Afterward, we will proceed to the fortified city of Meknes, renowned for its rich history and cultural heritage. During our visit to Meknes, we will explore the iconic Bab Mansour gate, the Sehrij Essouani, and the Granaries, as well as various other highlights of this authentic city.

Finally, we will drive to the vibrant city of Fes, where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Fes sightseeing with a local guide

Today, our experienced local guide will rendezvous with you at your hotel in Fes, and continue your journey of discovering the historical and cultural significance of the old city of Fes.

During the tour, you will be taken to explore the notable landmarks including the entrance to the Royal Palace, the Southern Fortress, the Al-Qarawiyin University, the Tanneries, and the local markets that lie within the ancient city walls.

You will be given the opportunity to stroll through the intricate alleyways of Fes and immerse yourself in its vibrant atmosphere. At the end of the day, our guide will accompany you back to your accommodation, where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 5: From Fes to the Sahara Desert Merzouga via Ifrane, Azrou forest, Midelt and Arfoud

Early morning, our tour will commence from your hotel in Fes, traveling towards the Sahara Desert, passing through several noteworthy locations such as the city of Ifrane, Midelt - known as the "City of Apples," and Arfoud - the gateway to the desert.

Upon arrival at a desert hotel, located in the midst of sand dunes, you will embark on a thrilling camel ride to reach your luxurious desert camp.

Your overnight stay at the desert camp will include a dinner and breakfast experience, complete with a lively Berber music show around the campfire.

Day 6: From Merzouga Desert to Dades Valley via Rissani, Todgha Gorges and Tinghir

In the morning, following a nutritious breakfast, you will be met by a 4x4 vehicle to transfer you from your desert camp to a hotel located near the dune lines. There, our guides will be waiting to escort you on the next leg of your journey.

The day will commence with a visit to the bustling market of Rissani, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of the local inhabitants as they go about their purchases. From there, we will proceed to the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorges, where you will have the opportunity to take a short walk within the 300-meter-high canyons.

Finally, we will make our way to the picturesque Dades Valley, also known as the "country of figs".

Day 7: From Dades Valley to Marrakech via Roses Valley, Ouarzazate and Ait-Benhaddou

Following a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a scenic journey from the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate, renowned for its stunning "Road of Thousand Kasbahs" and lush Roses Valley. Upon arrival in the "Cinema Capital of Morocco", we will have the opportunity to visit the world-famous Cinema Studios and explore the historic Ksar Kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a renowned location for movie and film productions. This fortified village offers a glimpse into Morocco's rich cultural heritage, and we will take a guided tour of its many attractions. Finally, we will traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains in route to the vibrant city of Marrakech.
